HOW to IMPROVE your GMAT score?
This is a collection of experiences of test takers,to give you a real feel of all difficulties that you might face during the tests and ways to improve your performance..I will go section wise,gust go through them,you will certainly find them useful.
THE ESSAY SECTION:
My suggestion is to think for a while, write down whatever comes to you, and only then start typing. U have 30 minutes. Use each minute carefully. There’s nothing to celebrate in finishing it in 15-20 mins. Ok, so the scores aren’t that important, but that doesn’t mean u don’t take it seriously. I don’t know what my score will be, but I’m happy about what I wrote.
THE MATH SECTION:
The math section is nothing extraordinary,mostly you will find question s similar to the ones you encountered in your preparatory tests. So,take your time,practice hard and you can easily sail through it,without having to worry a lot.
THE ENGLISH SECTION:
I feel that there ain't much you can do about RCs and CRs but as far as SCs are concerned, practise as much as u can. Understand the basic concepts involved in SCs. Understand the types of errors. Completing 1000 SCs is a must.Do not feel disturbed if you score less in some of the preparatory tests,it happens,just don't give up.Keep Trying,keep practicing.
On hindsight, there are some more things that you should follow:
1. Do not take any section lightly. .
2. Take every practice test as if it were real. This would help you time yourself better.
3. Last but not the least, have confidence in your abilities. Even if you are not doing well in the practice tests, you can do well in the exam. People have,in the past achieved there best scores on the D-day..
